Magpas Air Ambulance chose the Abbots Ripton Estate as the location for its first Mission: Obstacle Dash. The 5K obstacle course saw 700 participants brave the mud to crash, splash and climb their way to the finish line.

Participants bustled through 10,000 balls, clambered over floating dinghies, weaved through woodland webs and flung themselves down a foam-covered inflatable flume. Everyone then celebrated with refreshments at the event village. Obstacle Dash raised a phenomenal £26,000 for Magpas Air Ambulance.

By kind permission of Lord and Lady De Ramsey the Estate has also hosted the Woodhurst Group Riding for the Disabled Association and the Fitzwilliam Branch of the Pony Club CHARITY PLEASURE RIDE which took place on 3, 6 and 12 mile courses around the estate.

Abbots Ripton Estate has a rich history of bringing extraordinary outdoor events to life. Secret Garden Party remains a much-loved part of that story, showing just how completely the Estate can be transformed through music, creativity, production and imagination.

With ancient woodland, expansive fields, lakeside settings and space for large-scale production, the Estate can accommodate everything from intimate independent events to ambitious multi-day festivals. Recent events including Origin Festival, Timescape and The Big Retreat continue that story, each using the Estate in a completely different way.
