Lord and Lady De Ramsey, are opening the gates to the Abbots Ripton Estate. Explore the stunning gardens of one of the largest private estates in England, all while supporting a lifesaving charity.
What to expect:
- Explore a historic garden dating back to the 1800s, lovingly maintained by the De Ramsey family.
- Wander along scenic paths past manicured lawns, rare and ancient trees, and beautifully planted borders
- Discover over 1,600 species of plants and flowers across 8.5 acres of spectacular private gardens
- Uncover charming features, including follies and a picturesque lake
- Enhance your visit with a private tour led by one of the gardeners
- Live music and drama performances
- Relax in the sunshine with light refreshments and classic lawn games
Visitor information and accessibility:
- The gardens are open from 11:30 am-4:30 pm (guests arriving towards the end of the day will still be welcomed)
- No dogs except guide dogs
- A designated car park is available, providing direct access to the event
- Toilet facilities are located within the grounds and will be clearly signposted
- The house will not be open to the public on the day; visitors are kindly asked to stay within the designated areas
